Wallal Downs Station is located at Eighty Mile Beach in the East Pilbara Region of Western Australia.

Warrawagine Cattle Company is a privately owned cattle company with approximately 30,000 head of cattle across two stations. Wallal Downs is primarily used for backgrounding and all cattle work is done with motorbikes. Wallal Downs also produces cut hay from centre pivot operations. The stations have a large array of modern plant and equipment,

Stationhands: Working all facets of cattle handling; including mustering, drafting, processing, feeding and watering stock. The successful applicant must be willing to learn, work independently and follow directions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Cattle mustering, husbandry and welfare using motorbikes.

• Low Stock Stress handling.

• Operating various types of machinery and small trucks.

• Property Maintenance including fencing.

• Communication and basic record keeping skills are essential.

Farmhands : Providing assistance to the Farm Manager by helping in the production of grass for hay and silage across twelve 48-hectare pivots. The successful applicant must be willing to learn, work independently and follow directions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining various plant and equipment.

• Low Stress Stock handling of cattle on stand graze pivots.

• Competent with two-wheel motorbike.

• Communication and basic record keeping skills are essential.

• Positive attitude and good worth ethic.
